Step 1. Log in to your control panel.

Step 2. Click on File Manager.

Step 3. Create a New Folder where you'd like people to be able to download files.

Step 4. Right click on the New Folder you just created and select Password Protect.

Step 5. Scroll down to Create User and enter a username and password.

Step 6. Click on Add/Modify Authorised User.

Step 7. Now you can upload your files into your newly created folder.

Step 8. Send the username, password and folder address (e.g. http://happyhosting.org/newfolder) to the person you'd like to be able to download the files.
